ONLY 15 Days to Filing Deadline.

Remember to file your Self-Assessment Tax Returns before 31st January 2019.

All Tax Returns for the year ending 5th April 2018 MUST be filed and all Tax due paid before midnight on 31st January 2019.

If you fail to comply then HMRC will Fine you £100 per Tax Return and begin adding extra charges and fines as of 1st February 2019.

Penalties

If you need to send a tax return and you miss the deadline for submitting it or paying your bill you will get a penalty!

You’ll also get a penalty of £100 if your tax return is up to 3 months late. You may have to pay more if it’s later, or if you pay your tax bill late. You’ll also be charged interest on late payments.

What to do if you Cannot Pay Your Tax Liability Now.

Contact HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as soon as possible.

You might be able to set up a payment plan to pay in instalments. To set up a payment plan, you need a Government Gateway user ID and password. If you do not have a user ID, you can create one when you set up a payment plan.

Interest may be due if you pay late. You may avoid penalties by contacting HMRC as soon as possible.

If you cannot pay before the deadline, call the Business Payment Support Service. Anyone can use this service, not just businesses.
